Lucy Coleman, MD is a physician specializing in high-complexity human reproduction, fertility medicine, and embryology. She is the founder of FertilityOnline® and has founded and developed multiple fertility clinics, serving in leadership roles including Scientific Director at Fertiaguerrevere Fertility in Caracas, Venezuela. Her work has focused on clinical reproductive medicine, embryology laboratory operations, and the operational design of fertility programs.
Over more than 17 years, Coleman has led and contributed to reproductive medicine programs across Venezuela, Europe, and the Middle East. She completed advanced medical and scientific training in Oxford, Bristol, and London, and has collaborated with the Embryology Master’s Programme at the University of Oxford. Her professional focus has included clinical care, laboratory governance, regulatory alignment, staffing models, and systems integration within fertility clinics, particularly during periods of organizational growth.
Coleman is recognized for establishing and structuring programs in egg donation, egg freezing, surrogacy, and sperm donation in Venezuela, and has been involved in the development of cryopreservation and reproductive tissue banking initiatives. Through her leadership roles, she has overseen multidisciplinary teams integrating physicians, embryologists, nurses, and laboratory personnel.
In addition to her clinical and laboratory work, Coleman engages in strategic advisory discussions related to fertility clinic scaling, operational sustainability, and the responsible integration of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, within reproductive health systems.
She is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), the ASRM Mental Health Professional Group, and the British Infertility Counselling Association (BICA). She has served as a UNICEF Child Rights Advocate for Venezuela and the Middle East and is CEO of Allu Cryobanks International. Coleman is also the author of several health and personal development books and is certified in hypnotherapy through the PATH Foundation, the Omega Institute, and Yoga Alliance USA.
